The International Trade and Finance Association (IT&FA), founded in 1988, is a multidisciplinary association for academics and professionals, interested in studying international trade and finance, and in promoting a general awareness of these fields and related global economic issues.

IT&FA holds two conferences each year -- one an international conference (usually in late May) and the other in conjunction with the Allied Social Sciences Association.

The association also publishes The Global Economy Journal, produced by the innovative Berkeley Electronic Press. It offers some of the best scholarly research and analysis relating to economic aspects of globalization.
